DR. GWENDOLYN FLEMING NAMED ROLLA MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
The Rolla Board of Education is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Gwendolyn Fleming as the next Assistant Principal at Rolla Middle School, effective July 1, 2024. Dr. Fleming has twenty years of experience in education and has served for the past six years as the Rolla Public Schools Administrative Intern at Rolla Middle School. She began her career at Parkview High School in Springfield, Missouri, then taught for 8 years at North Little Rock, Arkansas before beginning her tenure at Rolla High School, where she taught AP Psychology before moving into her current role at Rolla Middle School.
Dr. Fleming holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary History Education (2002) from Missouri State University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration (2004) from Missouri State University, and a Doctorate Degree in Advanced School Superintendency (2018) from Lindenwood University.
Dr. Fleming has been married to her husband Sean, who is also a teacher, for fifteen years and together they have two children Sean (8) and Carys (14). When she’s not busy serving the students and families of Rolla Public Schools, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and attending her children’s competitive sporting events.
